2009年から、何度もUrBANGUILDに出演してくれたフランス人チェリストのHugues VIncentが、2024年1月に亡くなってしまいました。彼が残してくれた多大なる功績に対し、敬意と哀悼の意を込めて、追悼イヴェントを開催致します。

Kumi IWASE
After starting the saxophone in Japan, Kumi Iwase came to France to study clarinet, jazz, composition and electroacoustic music in Evry’s CRD and with Guillaume Roy, Isabelle Duthoit, Jacques Di Donato, Nicolas Cylinder. She trained to free improvisation in master class with Dominique Piffarely, Joelle Leandre and Benat Achiary. She performed in different projects : saxophone duo and quartet, trio Iki No Ato (saxophone / electroacoustic / painting), duo with cellist Hugues Vincent, electronic project, Trio Yasai (cello /saxopne, clarinette /batterie) voice works with Japanese literature, improvised or written pieces for saxophone solo or saxophone and electronics, moovies-concert …. Her music is played and performed mainly in France , Japan, Taïwan etc…

エレクトロニクスを融合したアコーディオン弾き。96年からナスノミツル (アルタードステイツ)、三条とおる (EP-4)らの［elements］に加入後、数々のアングラの巨匠達との共演を経て2010年からUrBANGUILDのブッキングを務め、FOuR DANCERS, Velvet Moon等、数々のイヴェントを企画。今貂子、藤條虫丸、マルセロ・エヴェリン、由良部正美、ヤザキタケシ等、共演したダンサーは数知れず。梅津和時らと中山ラビのバックを15年勤め、フランスを中心に海外での活動も精力的に行い、’15年にはHi Seoul Festival 、’19年には釜山国際即興舞踊祝祭、Bridge Dance Festival (Chicago) に招聘される。’10, ’11年と、coba主催のイヴェントに参加。’20年音楽を担当した今貂子舞踏公演「金剛石-Diamond- 」（UrBANGUILD ）が文化庁芸術祭優秀賞受賞。2024年より一児の父。
仙石彬人 AKITO SENGOKU [TIME PAINTING, Visuals]
2004年より「時間に絵を描く」をテーマに、リキッドライティングの技法を用いたライヴ・ヴィジュアル・パフォーマンス “TIME PAINTING”をはじめる。
楽器を演奏するかのように３台のOHPを同時に操りながら紡がれる光の絵は、絶えず変化し続け２度と同じにはならないその場限りの物語を描く。LIVEという表現方法にこだわり、あらゆるジャンルのミュージシャンやダンサー、アーティストとのコラボレートワークを活動の場としている。
2020年からは映像や写真など、パフォーマンス以外のメディアにおける光の表現を探求するプロジェクト「光響事業」もスタート。”AMBIENT KYOTO 2023″で展示された山本精一の「Silhouette」や、る鹿「体がしびれる 頭がよろこぶ」のMVなどを手がけている。
AKITO SENGOKU is a projection artist, liquid lighting artist based on Kyoto, Japan. Since 2004 he has performed live shows called “TIME PAINTING”, the theme of “Painting on Time and Space” by using three Overhead Projectors(OHP). He manipulates 3 OHPs as if playing musical instruments. His unique improvised works are provided by being inspired from music, dance, and space as collaboration work. Since he is interested in traditional culture recently, keeps collaborating with them. Since 2020, he has started a new production, “ACOUSTIC LIGHT PROJECT,” which is working with photographer and film director. The project produces music videos, live streaming, photographic works and other media. They are trying to find new expression of light in the video and photo.

中川裕貴 Yuki Nakagawa
1986年生まれ、三重／京都在住の音楽家。チェロを独学で学び、そこから独自の作曲、演奏活動を行う。人間の「声」にもっとも近いと言われる「チェロ」という楽器を使用しながら、同時にチェロを打楽器のように使用する特殊奏法や自作の弓を使用した演奏を行う。音楽以外の表現形式との交流も長く、様々な団体やアーティスト（烏丸ストロークロック、森村泰昌、渡邉尚など）への音楽提供や共同パフォーマンスも継続して行っている。また2022年からは音楽家・日野浩志郎とのDUOプロジェクト「KAKUHAN」がスタートしている。 近年の単独でのコンサート活動として、「ここでひくことについて(2019)」＠京都芸術センター、「アウト、セーフ、フレーム(2020)」＠ロームシアター京都サウスホール（ロームシアター京都×京都芸術センター Ｕ35創造支援プログラム“KIPPU”）などがある。 令和6年度京都市芸術文化特別奨励者。

Ima Tenko Butoh dancer, choreographer, director of the Butoh Company KIRAZA, and Ima Tenko Butoh Studio. Participated in Byakkosha from 1980 to 1994. Performed in overseas and domestic performances, and designed and created costumes. In 2000, he formed the butoh company KIRAZA, based on her workshop. Performed at the old Gojo Rakuen Kaburenjo from ’07 to ’16. In 2016 Started long-run performance of “Hisoku” at KYOTO Butoh Kan (currently on hiatus). Performed -KANREKI anniversary- “Yami no Tsuya” at Ponto-cho Kaburenjo in 2019 . In 2020, won the Excellence Prize of the Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival in 2020 for the performance “Diamond” at UrBANGUILD. “LOVE TEMPEST” and “COMET” were performed as part of the Corona Trilogy . Kiraza Butoh performance‘Goblet of Lapis lazuli’Also she began a collaborative project “Onna no Bokushi-san(A female Poster)” with filmmaker Naoto Iina, and is scheduled to perform update version “Onna no Bokushi-san(A female Poster)”in March 2023. Through the exploration of the avant-garde form of Butoh, supported by the Shinto practice of Tamafuri, “reinvigorating the soul,” a practice seen at the heart of Japanese performing arts, Ima Tenko explores the frontiers of her own art and self. As an inheritor of Butoh, Ima Tenko uses Kyoto as a base to breathe new life and vigor into the form.
